The Start

There is a gigantic segment of the population desperately needing to understand the basics around their money, but they were not receiving this crucial education through traditional industry or the education system.

So the mission became to increase the distribution of financial information to the middle market.

Our approach combines comprehensive financial education with practical implementation, helping people reach their financial goals.

We can learn for ourselves through training courses or through a licensed advisor that will help put strategies into action.

The Shift

We realized that the industry was shrinking and the need for financial education is growing. We needed a better way to serve this enormous market.  That's when a small group made a pivotal decision: to recruit and train new agents who share our vision. We developed a comprehensive training program, that takes people, from scratch, and that equips them with the tools and a license to become professionals that distribute financial information to the middle market. Growth giving rise to opportunities for people to own their own agency. This expansion strategy allowed us to open up new markets through our new agents where trust already existed. This became the cornerstone of our ability to help as many people as possible.  We are now in almost every province in Canada and many of the states across America.

Meet the Owners

Kyle was introduced to the financial industry after growing up in Central Alberta and realizing something that would shape the direction of his career: his family, like many families, had never been taught how money actually works. It wasn't taught in school. It wasn't something most families talked about. After more than a decade in the financial industry, Kyle not only understands how money works but has built a brokerage helping people gain greater clarity around their financial future. His approach is simple: learn what will benefit you in the long run and then execute on it year after year. It's a process of making better decisions and measuring progress Kyle works with clients to understand how to build for retirement, use tax-efficient strategies, and plan for the transfer of their wealth. For Kyle, the mission is straightforward: create clarity, provide guidance, and empower people with financial knowledge they can use for the rest of their lives.

Jesse and Stacey are a husband-and-wife entrepreneurial team who turned two hands-on careers into a business built around leadership, impact, and helping other families build a stronger financial future. Jesse began his career as a crane operator. Stacey worked as an Animal Health Technician. Neither followed a traditional path into entrepreneurship—but both brought something more valuable with them: work ethic, discipline, and a willingness to learn. When they committed to the business full time, they didn't wait years to see what was possible. Within eight months, they made the transition to full-time entrepreneurship. Less than two years later, they achieved the milestone of becoming Senior Partners. Their story is a reflection of how they approach business today: show up consistently, learn the skills, build the relationships, and keep moving forward. As parents of two children, Jesse and Stacey understand that building a business isn't just about creating income. It's about creating options, protecting the people you love, and building something that can create opportunity for others. Today, they are focused on helping families protect their financial futures while developing a team of like-minded leaders who want to build something of their own. Their mission is simple: Build the business. Build the people. Build the future.

Kelly has spent 24 years building experience across business and finance, with a focus on one fundamental idea: financial security shouldn't be reserved for people who already understand money. As a licensed professional in life insurance and mutual funds, Kelly helps Canadian families and small business owners understand how money works, identify financial gaps, and build strategies designed around their individual goals. Her approach is practical. Instead of overwhelming people with complicated financial language, Kelly breaks the concepts down into decisions people can actually understand and act on. That can mean protecting the people who depend on you, preparing for retirement, growing investments, reducing financial stress, or building better financial habits. Kelly believes education is the starting point. When people understand their options, they can make better decisions. When they make better decisions consistently, they can change their financial trajectory. Her leadership extends beyond her clients. Kelly is also committed to developing people within the industry and helping others build the knowledge and confidence required to serve families effectively. Outside of business, Kelly is a wife, mother of two, golfer, and active member of her community. She has served on the board of the Airdrie & District Community Foundation and supported other community initiatives. For Kelly, financial education isn't about telling people what to do. It's about giving people the knowledge and tools to take greater control of where they're going.

For more than 20 years, JacQueline has built her career around helping individuals and families create greater financial stability, protection, and long-term security. Her experience spans both the mortgage and financial services industries. As the founder of a successful mortgage brokerage and an agency with Empower Empire, she has worked with people from many different backgrounds to navigate home ownership, financial planning, insurance protection, and wealth-building strategies. But over the years, JacQueline discovered something that changed the way she looked at financial success. Money decisions are rarely just about money. Behind financial habits and financial stress are often deeper patterns—fear, conditioning, survival, self-worth, and past experiences. A financial strategy can be technically sound, but if a person's relationship with money is working against them, the numbers alone won't solve the problem. That realization began a deeper journey into human behaviour, emotional healing, forgiveness, and self-awareness. She works from principles of forgiveness, perception, and inner peace into both her personal life and professional work. Her journey continued through personal challenges, reinforcing a lesson she had spent years teaching others: financial protection matters most when life doesn't go according to plan. In 2024, JacQueline completed her Trauma of Money Facilitator™ Certification, bringing together her financial industry experience with trauma-informed work around people's relationship with money. Today, her work extends beyond financial strategy. Through the Forgive & Flourish Coherence Method™, she helps people explore the emotional patterns that can influence their relationship with money, themselves, and their future.

Pauline McInnes entered the financial industry in 2006 as a mortgage broker. At the time, entrepreneurship gave her something extremely valuable: the flexibility to build a career while raising a young family. But the mortgage business also exposed Pauline to something much bigger than mortgages. She saw firsthand how financial decisions affect every part of a family's life—and how much better those decisions can become when people understand the fundamentals. That included the importance of saving, protecting income, and protecting what is often a family's largest financial asset: their ability to earn an income and the people who depend on it. Over the years, Pauline has built a successful career helping individuals, families, and business owners protect their futures and grow their wealth through insurance and financial strategies. Today, her role extends beyond serving clients. Pauline is passionate about developing new agents and helping them build businesses that work alongside the life they want to live. She understands that entrepreneurship doesn't have to mean choosing between career and family. It can mean building a business that gives you greater control over both. Her philosophy is straightforward: Build something meaningful, serve people well, and don't sacrifice the life you're building it for.

Jaret Sledz Head Shot Blue Suit V2_edited.jpg

Jaret Sledz has spent his career in the entrepreneurial arena, building businesses, developing people, and studying what actually creates long-term financial independence. Early in his career, Jaret recognized a problem hiding in plain sight: People don't necessarily have an income problem. They often have an education problem. Most people spend years learning how to earn money, but very little time learning how money actually works—how to protect it, grow it, create assets, manage risk, and ultimately turn income into lasting wealth. That gap became the opportunity. Rather than simply becoming another financial professional, Jaret set out to become a resource—not only for clients, but for the people who would help serve thousands of other families. Since 2010, his primary focus has been scaling financial education through people. That means finding ambitious individuals, teaching them the fundamentals, developing their skills, and helping them build businesses of their own. His philosophy is that the biggest opportunity isn't simply to become better at doing the work. It's to become better at developing people who can do the work. Jaret believes entrepreneurship is about more than making money. It's about ownership, personal growth, discipline, leadership, and building something that can eventually operate beyond your individual effort. That philosophy drives the culture behind Empower Empire: build assets, not just income; develop skills, not just credentials; surround yourself with people who are further ahead; and understand that meaningful growth requires getting comfortable being uncomfortable. Today, Jaret's focus is on developing leaders who can educate, serve, and develop others. Because one person can only impact so many lives. A trained leader can impact hundreds. A leader who develops leaders can impact thousands. That's the opportunity Jaret is building toward.

Brian believes financial planning should be understandable, practical, and personal. His focus is helping individuals and families gain confidence in their financial future by turning complicated financial decisions into clear, actionable strategies. Whether the goal is protecting a family, replacing income, covering final expenses, or preparing for retirement, Brian starts with the same principle: understand the person before recommending the solution. His approach is down-to-earth and relationship-driven. He believes people don't need more financial jargon—they need someone who will listen, explain their options clearly, and help them make informed decisions. That philosophy has also shaped his leadership. Today, Brian leads a team of 25 licensed agents serving clients across Canada. His objective is to develop professionals who can provide the same level of clarity, service, and personal attention to the families they serve. For Brian, success isn't simply measured by the number of clients or policies. It's measured by whether people leave the conversation with more clarity, more confidence, and a better plan than they had before it started.

Rox.jpg

Roxane has spent more than a decade with Empower Empire helping make financial education more accessible to the people who need it most. Her philosophy starts with a simple belief: financial education should be accessible to everyone—not just people who already understand money. With experience in insurance and sales, Roxane has helped individuals and families better understand financial strategies, identify opportunities, and take steps toward their personal and financial goals. But her focus extends beyond creating financial plans. She believes the real value comes from education. A plan can tell someone what to do. Education helps them understand why they're doing it—and gives them the confidence to make better decisions going forward. That same philosophy drives her work with new agents. Roxane is passionate about opening doors for people who want to learn, grow, and build a career in financial services while developing the skills required to serve others. Over the years, she has seen the impact that financial literacy can have on individuals, families, and entire communities. Her mission is to continue expanding that impact by developing people who can take the knowledge they've gained and pass it on to others. Educate one person. Empower one family. Develop one leader. Then repeat.
